One
of the oft-repeated phrases for which Barack Obama has become
infamous is
"You
must pass this
legislation before an
emergency becomes a catastrophe."
We're all sick of
hearing that particular "gimme the money" mantra simply because it has
proven to be nothing more than unproductive scare-tactical
rhetoric each and every time it has been invoked. Our collective
nausea is reflected in Obama's ever-declining
poll numbers and approval ratings.
The
phrase
"shovel-ready jobs"
was sheepishly
walked back, after two years of
expensive failure, by none other than
your Dear Leader himself. His latest
declarative, "Pass this
bill...RIGHT AWAY!"
is a see-through attempt to sound like Ronald Reagan
did when he demanded, in a speech to Berliners, "Mr. Gorbachev,
TEAR DOWN THIS WALL!"
-- a lame attempt at stopping the poll bleeding by modifying the
tone of his
cry-wolf rhetoric.
But for someone
who has had the pressing issue of jobs creation on his plate for
nearly three years who, instead, pursued ideology-driven legislation along
with his own self-aggrandizing interests, it is beyond hypocrisy
that he now masquerades as the decisive, effective, conservative, heroic man
that was so unlike himself. Meanwhile, the leftist base
continues to vilify Ronald Reagan, ignoring his remarkable ability to unify Americans
while they continue to defend the poser who polarizes Americans by
routinely engaging in class, race and
ideological provocation.

"Unemployed
union construction workers ready to get their hands dirty"
has replaced
"shovel-ready jobs"
in the lefty lexicon.
The word
"stimulus"
has been declared verboten by Nancy Pelosi.
The Reaganesque
emphatic repetition of the phrase "Pass this
bill...RIGHT AWAY!!!
has
replaced
"You must pass this
legislation before an
emergency becomes a catastrophe."
I'm not sure how our
legislators will reply to the latest condescending throw-down but I know
what I would say to Barack Hussein Obama in front of as large a gathering as possible in the
prime-est time available if I were a member of Congress:
Mr. Obama, sign your
name at the bottom of this letter of resignation before the
catastrophe that is your administration becomes the death of the
USA. Use as many pens as you like but...
...DO IT RIGHT AWAY!!!
