I think you nailed it. I will now stand and applaud.

"Terrorism is in resurgence" - say it ain't so, Bloggo! A trillion dollars, 2 wars, how many dead? and enough blood on the hands of Bush AND Obama to disgrace them both? (PS - unfortunately, I have to agree with pretty much of the rest of it).

Sums it up pretty good. If I had known you were going to do this I would have avoided watching the donkey pep club and sour lemon pucker elephants. Good job eddo!

Ed, you could have said "Mr. Obama was blowing out more hot air then he was sucking in." Enough said.

I think the public blames the Republicans as much as Obama and the Democrats for the economic problems.
Much of the other problems you listed are Obama related but I think the economic question will be much debated but neither side will gain with the voters on this issue...especially since the jobs figure won't improve much before election day.
The Republicans are happy right now but I think they have forgotten that the public blames them for much of this mess, which is why they lost power everywhere in the last few years. The Dems are in trouble because all they could say is they weren't George W. Now they have no issues other than giveaways.

Do you really think this is all Obamas doing? It took us eight years to get us to this point and your kind expect it will change in a year?!!! Next time write two hundred words of what your plan is and send it to Obama you genius!

Sadly, though your blog
is right on target, there is nothing in either
yours or Obama's address to stand and cheer for.
How has this great nation fallen so low and how
much lower can we go?

You left out the
point that all the failures in his
administration will be written off as "You can't
fix 8 years of failures in (fill in the blank
from 1-4) years." BHO will get credit for
whatever successes he may achieve, and none of
the blame for any of the poorly thought out, and
hastily enacted crap legislation and spending we
keep seeing.

The SOTU Address seems to
have very little to do with the State of the
Union, it's become more of a statement of
accomplishment or campaign speech. Obama tried
taking that to a new level.

Put another way, Obama's
sentiment might read, "I know it's hard for you
folks to comprehend, but I'm trying to take care
of you." Such an attitude is unbecoming a public
servant. The burden is not on President Obama to
explain his plan, and on We the People to
listen, but on him to listen to us.
