Surrogates to the rescue?

It could
be very difficult for a guy who made it big on
smooth rhetoric, too much exaggeration, endless
bragging about his unique ability to provide the
most positive and prosperous kind of change
imaginable and the biting off far more than he could
ever chew to cope with the reality of his failure.
Not Barack Obama.
Instead,
he keeps on lecturing, blaming and fomenting class
warfare as if he has had nothing but right-headed
thoughts all along. Does he ever
take on the blame for not working harder and smarter himself? Not Barack Obama.
Why would
anyone think this leopard will ever change even one
spot when he eerily admits to lifelong sameness?
"I remember when I was in 8th grade I had to take a
class called ethics. Now, ethics is about right and
wrong, but if you’d ask me what my favorite subject
was back in 8th grade, it was basketball. I don’t
think ethics would have made it on the list.”
Then there are the
remaining
surrogates who are being
dispatched to neutralize the candidate's arrogance
and narcissism -- Joe Biden and Michelle Obama...
|
Surrogate #1 might appeal to people who
like humorous rhetoric and 'twist'
endings... |
Surrogate #2 calls himself Blue Collar
Joe, a character who wants to appeal to
workers... |
Surrogate #3 might appeal to those who
believe in the
American Dream... |
|
 |
 |
 |
|
"What
are you talking about, Joe? You're
telling me we have to go spend money to
keep from going bankrupt? The answer is
yes." |
"You can't
go to 7/11 or Dunkin' Donuts
unless you have a slight Indian accent.
I'm not
joking." |
"The Recovery Act? In my wildest dreams
I never thought it would work this
well.” |
|
...but The Twilight Zone hasn't
been on TV since the surrogate was in
high school. |
...but there are too few workers these
days and he finds it difficult to be
nice to the ones that are left. |
...but there's a time and a
place for everything.
|
|
With statements like this latest one from Joe Biden, Obama might be better off fouling
things up all by himself:
"Even though 50-some percent of the American people
think the economy tanked because of the last
administration, that’s not relevant. What’s relevant
is we’re in charge... [it is totally legitimate for
the 2012 presidential election to be] “a referendum
on Obama and Biden and the nature and state of the
economy.”
So who can be counted on to save the
day? Michelle Obama?
|
|
Surrogate #4 might appeal to moms who
regularly shop at discount stores... |
Surrogate #5 might continue to appeal strongly
to the ever-shrinking Obama base... |
Surrogate #6 might appeal to
fresh foodies, grow-your-own types and
nature lovers... |
|
![Michelle Obama says: "Fortunately, we have help from the media... I'm very grateful for [their] support and kindness..."](michelle0target.jpg) |
 |
 |
|
"Fortunately, we have help from the
media... I'm very grateful for [their]
support and kindness..." |
"America is just
downright mean." |
"For the
first time in my
adult lifetime, I am
really
proud of my country..." |
|
...but
everyday images of designer outfits,
diamonds and trips to world capitals cancel out photo ops like this
one. |
...but
the same images that are a turn-off to
Target Moms are also bothersome to
hard-lefties and those who demand
honesty. |
...but
obesity talk and food
policing will
continue to bug
junk
food junkies -- a much
larger demographic. |
Michelle Obama's latest
pronouncement at a $2,500-a-plate luncheon in Maine:
"He [Barack] understands
these issues, not just because he’s smart but because he’s lived
them.”
